PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS: Contention Plan / Statement on COVID-19


Companies and organisations have a key role to play in protecting the health and safety of their workers, as well as being crucial in limiting the negative impact of infection by the new Coronavirus on the economy and society, hence the importance of Contingency Plans being developed and updated with the information made available by the Direção-Geral da Saúde (DGS, the Portuguese Directorate-General of Health), so that the recommendations in the field of infection prevention and control are complied with.


The situation is very uncertain at the moment, and we must therefore take responsibility for doing everything possible to ensure that we can continue to supply our products and services and that there is no need for a total shutdown of operations, while also ensuring the safety of our employees and everyone in contact with them.


In this way, PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS immediately establishes, with effect from today, a containment and contingency plan decided by its CEO, Miguel Soares.

Except in duly authorised exceptions, no face-to-face meetings or visits shall be held and all meetings may be held by videoconference with the intervenients.


The installation of equipments and technical assistance may also be subject to constraints which will be duly informed and adjusted in the most effective way possible, without putting any intervenient at risk.


Several internal measures have already been taken, such as the strengthening of internal communication on this issue, a process of changing schedules to avoid large concentrations of people in one place at the same time, cancellation of trips and cancellation of face-to-face meetings or visits, except in strictly necessary cases.


This plan intends to provide adequate management of the impact of an eventual epidemic of COVID-19 on the activities and services that PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS ensures and on its collaborators, aiming at the following objectives:


a) Safeguarding the health of all by reducing the risk of contamination in the workplace (through contact with colleagues or through contact with the various stakeholders, namely customers and suppliers);


b) To promote the containment and minimization of the conditions for the spread of the virus in our facilities;


c) To cope with any reduction in the number of workers resulting from the adoption of measures to contain or generally spread the disease and to ensure, as far as possible, the operability of services, in particular those performing essential tasks, by preparing an appropriate operational response;


d) To restore the normal activity of the company as soon as possible.


PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS has at its service workers who are essential to the execution of the tasks necessary for the fulfillment of the company's mission of maintaining its operation and responding to orders in progress. These departments have already been identified in order to make adjustments in working hours or workplace adjustments in order to try to minimize the risk of contagion of an entire group and minimize the proximity between people.


Adjustments may also be made for possible interactions between presential and remote work, in cases where this situation is possible. All employees in all departments will continue to work 100%, being always available through phone, email and with normal access to our communication and management platforms.
